Report a Concern

Always ask the question or report a concern

Take a proactive approach to preventing, identifying, and/or helping to mitigate noncompliant activities by disclosing any acts which you reasonably believe violate the law or university policy to an appropriate University official.

Indiana University values the diversity of viewpoints that foster a robust intellectual environment. Reports of instructional situations that fail to meet this standard should be directed to the IU EthicsPoint Reporting Hotline.

A supervisor
Any member of management
Your unit’s HR or fiscal officer
Your school’s compliance officer (if applicable)

Non-retaliation

Retaliation against any employee who has submitted a complaint or concern in good faith is strictly prohibited. Those who submit good faith reports or inquiries are entitled to be treated in accordance with whistleblower protections as outlined in the IU Whistleblower Policy and Indiana State Statute.
